Call for Participants: Research on Women in Sustainable Development
A former active Giving Women member and long-time friend of our community, Elaine France, is currently completing an MA in Education, Identity and Competences for Democratic Culture. Through her research, she aims to highlight the invaluable role women play as changemakers in shaping more flourishing and regenerative futures.
Her research project is titled:
Women in Sustainable Development: Drawing on Pluricultural Identities to Narrate Regenerative Futures
Elaine is seeking women of all ages who are working in, or contributing to, sustainable development in its broadest sense. This may include sustainability, climate action, climate education, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, social impact, community development, and related fields.
No previous experience with futures-thinking is required. Participants will be guided through an engaging and interactive process designed to explore how women draw on their diverse identities and experiences to imagine and shape regenerative futures.
What is involved?

- Two guided online sessions of approximately 90–120 minutes each
- Attendance at both sessions is required, as the second builds on the first
