Become a Project Circle

Applications are open for 2026. Learn more and apply below.

We work alongside with women-focused grassroots organisations, helping them to grow stronger, more impactful and more sustainable.

We are not a grant-giving organisation. We offer our time, skills and expertise –  pro bono – to help these projects become grant-ready. Together we build capacity and support teams to develop strategies and governance structures.

The result? Stronger organisations with greater, lasting impact for women and girls.

About Project Circles

What is a Project Circle?

A Project Circle is made up of a small team of Giving Women members dedicated to supporting your organisation. It includes you as the Project Owner and relevant members of your team, and 3-5 Giving Women members who volunteer their time, skills, and experience to support you in the areas you identified in your application

How does a Project Circle work?

If selected, you will present your organisation and support needs at our Project Discovery event, after which members volunteer to join your Project Circle (3–7 members).

  • Onboarding is provided for every Project Circle

  • A dedicated Coordinator supports the process

  • Regular Zoom meetings

  • Typical duration: 12–18 months

How a Project Circle supports you

Our members share their time, skills, and expertise, pro-bono, in the following areas, to help organisations strengthen their governance, build capacity, and become grant-ready. Together, we provide guidance and co-create practical solutions across key areas that help projects grow stronger, more sustainable, and ready for lasting impact.

Organisational & Strategic Development
When organisations face change, we help clarify direction, strengthen structures, and lay the foundations for lasting growth.

Communications & Marketing
Clear, authentic communication is key to sharing your mission and attracting support. We help you shape messages into compelling stories that inspire action.

Governance Structures
Good governance brings stability and trust. Together, we review, refine, and revitalise structures that support long-term success.

Fundraising Strategy
While we do not raise funds, we help you design clear, actionable strategies to overcome challenges and grow your support.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
Understanding your impact is key to driving change. We guide you in building simple, effective systems to measure results, learn, and grow with confidence.

Sounding Board & Mentorship
Every leader needs a safe space to share challenges and ideas. We listen, support, and walk alongside you to find practical ways forward with confidence.
