SUMMARY:2026 Conference - Reimagining women’s health in underserved communities
DESCRIPTION:About the conference\nWomen and girls around the world continue to face significant barriers to accessing quality healthcare. Poverty\, gender inequality\, harmful social norms\, climate change and fragile health systems combine to create some of the greatest health inequities of our time. \nAt the same time\, communities around the world are already developing innovative\, locally led solutions. Our challenge is to amplify these voices\, share these solutions\, and accelerate collective action. \nGiving Women’s biennial conference brings together philanthropists\, foundations\, healthcare professionals\, NGOs\, academics\, corporate leaders and grassroots organisations for an afternoon of thought-provoking discussions\, inspiring stories and practical solutions. \nParticipants will hear from keynote speakers\, engage in expert panels and take part in interactive conversations. They will explore practical ways to improve health outcomes for women and girls in underserved communities. \nWhat makes this conference different\nAt Giving Women\, we believe that those closest to the challenges must also be part of shaping the solutions. \nWe intentionally bring women and leaders from grassroots organisations working underserved communities into the conversation. Alongside internationally recognised experts\, they share lived experience\, community-rooted knowledge and practical solutions that enrich every discussion. \nAs a result\,  the conference goes beyond theory. It explores real stories\, real challenges\, solutions already making a difference\, and the gaps that still need to be filled. Ultimately\, it connects global perspectives with local realities and inspires meaningful collaboration. \nConference themes\nThe programme will explore topics including: \n\nWhy gender remains a barrier to health for women and girls\nThe impact of poverty\, climate change and social norms on health equity\nThe role of governments\, philanthropy\, civil society and communities in driving change\nCommunity-led solutions that are already improving women’s and girls’ health\nA collective call to action for more equitable health systems\n\nTickets\nAll ticket categories allow you to participate in the pre-conference panels on 22 & 28 September. More details on these panels will be released soon. \nBe the first to know\nVisit the conference page for full details \nJoin our mailing list to receive updates on speakers & panels. \n
